Position Description:
The Project Engineer will be working as part of the Owner’s Representative Team who will be conducting the Programming, Design and Planning of Construction Projects for each Airport in the Southern Region of the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Airport System.
The role of this position is to support the team and represent the Owner who is the FAA by:

• Co-ordinate and develop full project lifecycle, create the overall business case, develop documents and produce appropriate documentation, presentations, memos, reports.
• Track your team's project portfolio to ensure they meet key performance targets on time and within budget and to the contract.
• Effectively manage all interference with all project participants and stakeholders and share communications between the groups.
• Coordinate meetings, take meeting minutes and distribute correspondence.
• Support processing of subcontract change control documents such as Requests For Information, Field Change Requests, and Back-charge Notifications.
• Maintain subcontract correspondence and records on sites/offices for which responsibility has been given and perform analysis on project controls metrics.
• Conduct site visits and surveys, coordinate between engineering teams, scheduling, architects and contractors.
• Assist with Document Maintenance, archiving, estimating, take offs, purchasing, invoicing, and other duties as necessary.
